CECH VS RONALDO: 4TH ROUND FOR A PLACE IN 1/4

Portugal’s star Cristiano Ronaldo and Czech Republic’s goalkeeper Petr Cech will meet again this afternoon with this time a qualification for the quarter finals at stake for the winner. Chelsea goalkeeper and Manchester midfield have already met three times this year. The most recent confrontation was at the end of May for the final of the champions league and the duel between the two players was beautiful: Ronaldo scored a wonderful head and Cech stopped the penalty of the Portuguese midfield.

They are now going to meet with their nations but the confrontation is likely to as spectacular as it was in Premier League. Cech has claimed that Czech Republic is not afraid of Portugal who is considered as favourite in the group but has recognized that Ronaldo was a real danger for his team. But Cech will receive the support of part of the public who has decided to wear a helmet similar to the one the Czech goalkeeper is obliged to wear when playing in order to pay homage to the talent and courage of Cech.
