Face in the crowd

French striker Frank Ribery flew in from training at Tignes to take in the French Open at Roland Garros on Sunday, probably starting to fret about his place in the team. The great form of Gomis might be worrying him and the Bayern Munich ace might be eclipsed by a huge fee that Manchester United are threatening to offer Lyons for Benzema. On top of that there are the other rivals for places in Les Bleus forward line in Thierry Henri and Nicolas Anelke looked like he had more in the tank for France against England than he has for Chelsea for most of the winter, so he might also shine. Neverthless Frank looks a good bet to score the odd goal and keep his reputation in tact.
